La creación de esta marca la debo a Hilda Boado y Ciro Benemelli, quienes a finales de los '80 me solicitaron el diseño de una marca que identificara a la primera sociedad anónima de promoción cultural. En esta ocasión, concebí el logotipo a través de una construcción tipográfica que desarrollé especialmente y a la que todavía le debo la realización de los restantes caracteres alfabéticos. Lamentablemente, la marca que hoy expone Artex no es la misma que en aquel entonces planteé: gracias a deformaciones que sufrió al poco tiempo de su aprobación, lo que hoy queda de ella es el recuerdo y la vejación.
This late 80s creation is owed to Hilda Boado and Cyrus Benemelli, both of whom asked me to design a brand to identify the first cultural promotion firm. At the time, I conceived the logo through an especially developed typographic construction to which I still owe the remaining alphabetic characters. Unfortunately, the brand used by Artex today is not the same I proposed at the time with deformations suffered shortly after its approval, what now remains is only a tainted memory of the original idea
